Linc Tower Run, Goa 2018

January 28, 2018

840 steps up, 840 steps down; India’s Friendliest Stair Climbing Race

Linc Tower Run, Goa 2018, the fifth edition of the iconic race up and down the staircases of five seven-storeyed buildings (totally 840 steps) at Panaji’s business hub, EDC Complex, Patto, will be held on Sunday 28 January 2018 at 8am. It is organized by Adventure Breaks, and sponsored by Linc Properties.

Participants run up the stairs of Gera’s Imperium II, Gera’s Imperium I, Kamat Plaza, Star Bhavan (Bank of India) and Dempo Trade Centre, and then to the finish.

INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM CHALLENGE
Individuals run up and down all five buildings. Teams of five members do a relay; each person runs up and down one building and passing the baton to the next. There are three Team categories: Groups, Corporate and Inter-Collegiate.

VERTICAL SPRINT: 1 BUILDING ONLY!
Everyone can do this: it’s a race up the seven stories of Gera’s Imperium II and down again. Only the time taken to run up the buildings will be counted. The race finishes on the 7th floor.

TAKE THE STAIRS
Climbing up stairs is an easy, accessible and effective exercise; it burns three times the calories as a brisk walk. It brings down the incidence of lifestyle ailments like heart disease, strokes, high blood pressure and diabetes, which have already replaced communicable diseases as the No: 1 cause of deaths in India.
